“Karen Zinniel, LHP Interiors, was highly recommended by a good friend. We moved to our house in June 2019 after the Camp Fire. I had wanted to redo the master bath and change out all the doors in the house from day one. The whole project seemed daunting, partly due to my limited mobility but mostly due to the many, many choices. Then Karen came to the rescue. She project managed all aspects of each step seamlessly from the two bathroom renovations, to beautiful woodwork throughout, to the new hardwood floors to the repainting of the whole house. Karen discussed choices/possibilities at every step. Her artist’s eye is impeccable. Her talents extend to beautiful floral renderings (on her website) of which I have four proudly displayed on my walls. Karen is so personable and enjoyable to work with. She is detail oriented, and took the time to rearrange pictures and plates on my walls, as well as place collectibles, baskets and photo frames on bookcases, a china cabinet and furniture surfaces in every room. Karen has transformed our house into a warm, welcoming, wonderful home that we both truly love!! No matter which room, I look around at all of Karen’s touches and I smile--it all makes me very happy!!!”

I didn't know where to start. From the beginning, Karen understood my eclectic style and created a comprehensive design that included everything from paint choices, fabric choices, furniture, rugs, accent pieces and artwork. The result is elegant and classy but also informal, cozy and comfortable, exactly what I wanted. During the process, I learned that Karen is also an artist and draws exquisite renderings of flowers, some she has photographed from her own garden. “I was very pleased to use LHP Interiors on 3 separate sessions. The first was a move into a new house that required furniture placement, new rugs and window treatments -all done perfectly to compliment the house. The next was a half day of fun when Karen rearranged furniture, pictures and accessories to create a refreshing new look. The final job was downsizing and relocating to a condo. Karen used floor plans to help me decide what to take and what to leave. She also drew up very specific plans for placement of items in new home which I gave to movers to make their job easier.
